The Mazaga company was founded back in 1880, making us sellers with over a century of experience in the business. The same year Carmelo Grech Mazaga inaugurated a fresh fruit and vegetable shop in Zachary Street, in the heart of Valletta. Ever since then the name ‘Mazaga’ has always been synonymous with great quality, freshness and excellent service. It was in 1955 that Carmelo’s grandson, also named Carmelo Grech Mazaga, opened another shop in Birkirkara and then in 1978 proceeded to also sell as a wholesaler. Noel Grech, Carmelo’s son has given the business another boost ever since he joined the business in 1990. Noel has helped to make sure that the company was enlarged in the last decade and this because they started importing and exporting not only fresh fruit and vegetables but also dried fruit, fresh salads and juices from all over the world. Hence, Mazaga continues to make sure that clients are always satisfied with the help of excellent service and the best and most remarkable branded products on the market.
